Mufti Sajjad Usmani of Salaam Takaful Limited recently spoke at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi on Ethical Finance and Takaful Principles. He discussed Shariah Justification, the Wakala Waqf Model, and the Contrast between Insurance and Takaful. The session aimed at shaping ethical finance perspectives for undergraduate BBA and BS students. Dr. Irum Saba, Associate Professor, and Program Director MS-IBF at the School of Business Studies, who is also a Shariah Board Technical Member at Salaam Takaful facilitated this one-of-its-kind session. These kinds of collaborations with academia highlight Salaam Takaful’s commitment to foster understanding of Takaful principles among students.
